Darian, Senior 2013 | {Amarillo Senior Photographer}

I first met with Darian and her mom, Michele, after they had seen Taylor’s Senior Portraits. We discussed their ideas and outfits. They wanted to include railroad tracks, but since those are SO dangerous and illegal to shoot on, I told them I would do some research and find some dead tracks that would be safe.:)We also chatted enough for me to learn that Darian’s dream is to be a labor and delivery nurse, so I suggested we include some of that in her session. Sparkly, girly outfits were also chosen and we discussed how she was going to want to have her hair done.

At her session, Darian got her hair styled and her airbrush makeup was professionally applied by the amazing Kim Wood. Darian’s mom joined in on the fun, too! I love including moms on our sessions.:)

After they were all relaxed, looking gorgeous and confident, we visited several different locations that I planned out to go best with all of her outfits and the results were stunning.

Darian, you are gorgeous and I know you’ll be a great nurse. Thank you for choosing me for your Senior Portraits!:)

Tayler, Senior 2013 | {Amarillo Senior Photographer}

Tayler’s mom, Becki, contacted me on my blog as she found me through a Google search. She loved my pictures and wanted her daughter to be able to have an amazing experience for her senior portraits.

So, during their pre-session consultation, we got a chance to meet and to chat about all of Tayler’s ideas for her session. We looked at her outfits and discussed possible locations and ideas. I love these times as it gives me a chance to learn about each of my clients and it helps me be better able to capture who they are.:)

Tayler’s session consisted of portraits in a beautiful blue dress with amazing shoes (!), a few fun sunset pictures and then some “night-life” images. we had a good time and capture some gorgeous portraits of Tayler.

McKenzie, Senior 2013 | {Amarillo Senior Photographer}

McKenzie has been such a joy to me! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know her during the past two years. I first photographed McKenzie when she turned 16! You can view that session by clicking here. Then, this past fall, we photographed the first part of her senior portraits… you can view that session by clicking here.

This time, we wanted to use the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon as a backdrop for this gorgeous girl! She brought some fun mustache props and an awesome prom dress.

Also, today is McKenzie’s 18th Birthday! So, Happy Birthday, sweet girl. I hope you have a wonderful day.:)

Only this girl can make me laugh the way she does. I could not love her anymore if she were my own. My puddin, my heart.. My McKenzie Shae. Watching her grown from a little girl to an adult has been as wonderful as watching my own girls bloom into womanhood. I cannot wait to see what her future holds. It is so bright we gotta wear shades!! I love you puddin!
