Dixie contacted me and wanted to know if I would be willing to meet them at the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon for their family photo session. I replied with an ecstatic, “Absolutely!” Palo Duro Canyon is absolutely beautiful and I’m hoping that I’ll be working with more families there, soon!
Dixie did an awesome job of coordinating their outfits… not only for their family, but also to coordinate with the canyon walls! Yea, Dixie! We had a great time just driving and hiking around to where we wanted to be. We started in a meadow (where the boys played some baseball), worked our way to the caves and were on our way to play in the water when Kent and Dixie’s middle son, Dayton, got his finger smashed (and broken!) in the car door. Poor guy! (Dayton, I hope your finger heals quickly!) So, our ideas for the water will have to wait until next time.
But, in the meantime, we got some great portraits for the Cornelius family. I am so excited to share them with you!
