Jana W was my first official Beauty Session. It was amazing. Since it has been so cold outside, we did most of the session inside.

It’s time to start being in more photographs and to feel as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside.
Before the photo session part of the Beauty Campaign, Jana had some homework to do. The homework allows the client to get some things “out on the table” to let them go. This gives you the freedom to feel beautiful and confident. Here is how Jana rediscovered that she is Beautiful!
I am Beautiful because…
1. I am a child of the living God
2. I survived, with God’s guidance, the heartbreak of a lifetime
3. I have experienced love in my life
4. I have grown through pain, laughter and experiences
5. I’m 50 and I look good!
After Jana’s photo session, she completed the final part of her homework, which allowed her to discover the following:
“The scheduling of this seemed to run into one hurdle after another. Honestly, I was about ready to give up! But, I just kept plugging along, and everything worked out. On the way to the shoot, I said a prayer and I think everything went great.
Jana is an amazing woman and has a great bit of knowledge.
Now for the emotions I felt during this day…
Having known Jana for several years, it was a great joy to see her again. She is an easy person to be around and instantly puts you at ease. She had me focus on some things and told me how to position
myself so I got the best picture possible. I was at ease and ready for the fun. I felt I was beautiful and sexy. I felt empowered to do everything she asked of me, maybe do that and go beyond what she requested. The focus isn’t on my flaws or insecurities, but on what I truly am in my heart. What I feel I can be, let the world see the exceptional person that I am. I realize that I am a woman with a capacity to be all I want to be and then be some more. I think it is important for our daughters and granddaughters to see we don’t have to be a size 0 to achieve beauty in this world. They need to see that a woman of beauty is a woman who can love, care, be kind and satisfied with herself no matter what the exterior looks like. We need to change the thinking of, at least, our own daughters to be a beautiful woman from within. Let your light shine from your heart. Love yourself, as the ones who are important to you do. There is so much more to life than outward beauty. The heart is an awesome
piece of work, which God has designed perfectly. The outside is only the vessel. So, I think working on the inner beauty makes a woman gorgeous, no matter what the vessel looks like.” ~ Jana W.
