Jessica + Preston Engaged | {Amarillo Photographer}

To say that I am so anxious and ecstatic to photograph Jessica and Preston’s wedding in June is an understatement! These two are so adorable… there wasn’t a bad photo from the entire session and we had a great time during their session.

When Jessica first contacted me several months ago for a wedding consultation, I was excited to meet with her. She (and Preston) are friends with Katie and Josh… whose wedding I photographed last year. Jessica and Katie played volleyball together at WTAMU, and Katie referred her to me, so I knew Jessica was going to be a lot of fun to work with.

Well, Jessica is a lot of fun and so is Preston. We set the date for their engagement portraits and, of course, the wind was blowing that evening. So, we made the best of it… trying, at times, to use any and all shelter from the wind that we could find. We soon discovered that was an easy way to be escorted off of some property, oops!So, we ventured on and found new locations with them changing into different outfits along the way.

Jessica and Preston brought their black lab to be included in some of their photos. Bree is Preston’s “baby” and is was so sweet to see how much she loves him (and Jessica, too!). I was glad to include Bree in their portraits.

We ended the session in a field surrounded by a beautiful West Texas sunset. I was so excited to see the amazing clouds and the beautiful backdrop that we had. It was awesome!
