Ben is 12 & John is 10! | {Amarillo Photographer}

I had the pleasure of meeting these “tweens” last fall when I first photographed them and their family. They have both celebrated their birthdays this month and Melissa wanted to document this time in their lives. We chatted about what the boys are into at their ages and they brought lots of their favorite things to include in their portraits.

Ben is almost a teenager and did not want cutesy props and he did not want his session to look like he is a “little kid.” He loves to read and he loves his iPod. John is a “tweener” and loves legos, his red airplane and his Nintendo DS.

Melissa, thanks for choosing me to photograph your growing boys. I enjoyed it and I can’t wait for next time!
