First birthdays are so special; it’s amazing to see a sweet baby grow and change. Celebrations of life are so fun to document and I feel so thankful to be able to share this portrait with you.

Brittany is currently in medical school and I couldn’t have been more thrilled when she asked me to photograph their upcoming wedding. I am so excited and anxious.

Scott is very proud of his motorcycle, so we planned to do some shots with it. I am so glad we did… I just love how they turned out.

Courtney wanted photos of her family with her parents and her sister this time. And, what better time than now to capture these precious memories! Time flies and we sure can’t get these times back. If you haven’t had your family photographed recently, please make it part of your new year’s resolution to get it done!

Courtney and her family ended up with lots of awesome portraits on their CD, and here is the collage I made for them. I was pleased when they ordered 3 of these as 20x20s. I can’t wait to see a photo of them hanging in their homes for them to treasure forever.

They purchased their gorgeous rings from McFarlin’s Jewelry and had Parie from Parie Designs create the most beautiful details with flowers and linens to create a romantic mood for love. The Village Bakery created amazingly yummy cupcakes and they were displayed on a beautiful tiered stand.

This time, we decided to visit a local fire station and take photos with a fire truck and some fireman gear. The boys got to pretend they were driving the fire truck and they even got to wear some fireman boots and a helmet.

Derin said he wanted awesome pictures of him and his daughter as they’ve not ever had any together… just the two of them… dad and daughter. Having three daughters myself, I think it’s very important for girls to have these sweet memories with their daddies captured to cherish for years to come. I was very thrilled to work with Derin and Bre and I’m happy to present them with their amazing pictures together. I also suggested to Derin that he may want to purchase a collage of their favorite images. Collages are great ways to display several awesome portraits from the session in one large portrait, so I custom created one for them. Samantha is President of her Student Council and was a cheerleader for several years and participated in many competitions in her career. I always have seniors bring some things that are important to them and that were a part of their “school experience” so that we can document these important things!
